Glass Fiber Reinforce Gypsum, abbreviated as GRG, is a new type of pre-cast material made by laminating ultra-fine crystalline gypsum as the base material with special continuous rigid reinforced glass fiber and special additives on a mold through special processes. This material can be used to make various flat panels, functional products, and artistic shapes. Its unique material composition can resist damage, deformation, and cracking caused by external environments.

Product Features

1. Infinite Plasticity and Deformation Resistance

Products are produced based on engineering project drawings, with molds made first, and using fluid pre-casting production methods. Therefore, they can be made into any shape, allowing seamless integration with architectural designs.

2. Breathable With Natural Humidity Regulation

GRG panels have a porous structure that can absorb and release moisture from the air in natural environments, regulating indoor relative humidity and creating a comfortable indoor microclimate.

3. Lightweight With High Strength

GRG boards typically have a thickness of 10mm, weighing 16-18 kg per square meter, which reduces the weight and load of the main building structure. They have high strength, exceeding the fracture load strength of decorative gypsum boards by 10 times according to international standards JC/T799-1998 (1996).

4. Good Acoustic Performance

The thickness of GRG can be customized according to acoustic requirements, with the thinnest reaching about 4mm, which can meet acoustic reflection requirements well while maintaining good design aesthetics. As a sound-absorbing structure, it achieves sound insulation and absorption effects.

5. Fire-resistant

In the event of a fire, it not only resists combustion but also releases moisture equivalent to 15% to 20% of its own weight, significantly reducing the temperature of the fire surface and minimizing fire damage.

6. Short Processing Cycle

The demolding time for GRG products is only 1 hour, and the drying time after special treatment is only 4 to 8 hours, greatly reducing the production processing cycle.

7. Convenient Construction

GRG materials can be molded into any shape according to the designer’s design, and can be mass-produced and divided. On-site installation is quick and flexible, allowing for large-area seamless installation to form complete shapes. Especially for details such as openings, curves, and corners, it can ensure zero errors.
